PRIORITY OBJECTIVES:
To improve the overall effectiveness of the operation and to implement a culture of pro-active management in all departments. This new culture would result in an overall productivity improvement. In addition, management system tools would be developed and enhanced, including a problem resolution mechanism that would increase the involvement of employees in the process.
PVA’S RESPONSE:
To implement a customized Management Operating System and to provide training and on-the-job coaching to all Supervisors and Managers to increase their levels of active management. Some specific actions that contributed to the results were:
In addition, all Supervisor and Manager’s roles and responsibilities were clarified and improved through the process.

Some of the results that our client achieved were:
In addition, improved KPIs were installed in all departments, as well as, Crewing Guides and Master Schedules to optimize the utilization and flexibility of the employees.
PERPETUATION OF RESULTS:
Collaboration continues between PVA and this client as they transition from the project implementation phase to the follow-up phase. Visits and coaching continue with the trained internal resources who are now the driving force behind sustaining the project activities and results. Audits are starting and they will provide the feedback required to closely monitor the behavioral changes and the performance results. PVA will also conduct audits in order to support their management system compliance and a successful implementation of their Continuous Improvement Program.

- improving the flexibility of the workforce
- making scheduling enhancements
- improving variance identification and resolution
